# Shortcuts

Use the defaults or choose bindings that fit your Mac workflow.

## Default shortcuts

- **Refine: Fn + Control**: Press both keys together to refine the current selection or focused field.

- **Voice: hold Fn**: Hold to record and release to transcribe.

## Change a shortcut

1. **Open Refyne**: Click the menu bar icon and open Settings.

2. **Open Shortcuts**: Select the action you want to change and record a new binding.

3. **Test it**: Try the binding in a text field. Avoid combinations already used by macOS or your main apps.
